Patrol 14 is planning the final push for completeing our work on Bill Moore Lake. The contractor has filled and recontoured the mud bog and will be finished with most of their work by the end of the week. We need to haul fencing materials form the FS storage area in Idaho Springs to the mud bog area, and then we will be building buck and rail fencing to narrow the road where the mud bog was. We will also be reseeding and revegetating the areas behind the fence to bring the area back ot it's original scenic condition.

We will be meeting on Saturday October 3rd to get this done, and we welcome any help we can get. We really need help bringing the supplies up. We will start at the FS storage yard to load the fencing since we may have to do multiple trips.

Thanks to the many members of the club and our patrol we were able to accumulate 188 volunteer hours! We were able to install buck and rail fencing from the top of the hill climb to the bottom. Unfortunately, the contractor is still working on the drainage at the mud bog area so we weren't able to build any fencing up there. If the weather cooperates, we will be back up next weekend to finish.
